1. COLOSSUS – THE 50TH HONG KONG ARTS FESTIVAL

A highlight of this year’s 50th edition of the Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) is Colossus, a monumental dance work with a cast of more than 40 dancers. Multi-award-winning Australian choreographer Stephanie Lake’s powerful and exhilarating piece – named the number one show of 2018 by Time Out Melbourne – explores the individual and the collective, and chaos and order, through intricate choreography.

2. OUR TIME | SHARON CHEUNG’ S SOLO EXHIBITION INTRODUCTION

Sharon is a veteran Hong Kong journalist, she obtained her BA degree of Journalism and Communication at CUHK. She is also fellow of the Reuters Institute for Journalism at the University of Oxford, as well as the founder of “Lion Rock Fellowship” at the University of Oxford. In 2022, Sharon received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), graduated with first class honors. She also received the Dean List Award and the Boon Lee Award.

3. SUMMER VIBES AT CENTRAL HARBOURFRONT

Summer Vibes returns to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel and AIA Vitality Park. The retro-themed outdoor pop-up event is packed with skill games, kids’ rides, mini golf and photo installations. This is great fun for a date night or day out for the whole family.

4. HONG KONG SINFONIETTA: LUKA FAULISI PLAYS PROKOFIEV

Aged only 20, Paris-born violinist Luka Faulisi has already dazzled and impressed great masters with whom he had the pleasure of studying and working, including Pinchas Zukerman, Pavel Berman and Emmanuel Pahud. In his Hong Kong début with Hong Kong Sinfonietta under the baton of Ken Lam, Faulisi will present his captivating interpretation of Prokofiev’s brilliant Violin Concerto No 1, written when the composer was still in his 20s.
