EAT / DRINK

Winston’s Coffee

A go-to spot that has become one of Hong Kong’s favourite coffee shops. And as day turns to night, the music turns up a notch, the lights dim and the craft beer and wine starts to flow. A must try at Winston’s is their famous Espresso Martini!

Potato Head

You’ve no doubt been to the famed beach club in Bali but this HK spin-off is definitely worth a visit. Whether it’s the hipster bar with unique cocktails that takes your fancy, the Indonesian restaurant offering authentic Balinese cuisine, or the not-so-hidden music room for some post dinner tunes.

La Paloma

A vibrant tapas bar specializing in authentic Spanish cuisine. Feast on their signature paellas (unlimited at weekend brunches), el asador meats, along with daily specials and tapas plates perfect for sharing. Housed in an old ping pong hall (if you hadn’t guessed already), Ping Pong benefits from incredibly high ceilings, something we often forget exist in a city like HK! Tucked away on Second Street, the small red door will leave you unassuming of what to expect inside. For gin lovers, Ping Pong boasts one of the most comprehensive lists of gins so you’re guaranteed to find the right one for your tastebuds.
