Victoria Park annually hosts one of Hong Kong’s most magnificent Mid-Autumn Festival displays. The theme, “Chinese Delights in Full Splendour,” promises a unique showcase of hundreds of lanterns and lights, inviting everyone to explore the magic of the festival.

2. Lee Tung Avenue
For this upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, Lee Tung Avenue is once again aglow! The Moon Fest Lumiere exhibit features over 800 giant Chinese lanterns along its 200-meter pedestrian walkway. Beyond the iconic red lanterns, discover shapes like jade rabbits and goldfish. Moreover, on September 29, experience the LED Fire Dragon Fiesta, a modern twist on traditional culture with a dragon adorned in LED bulbs, showcasing the fusion of technology and tradition.

3. Gold Coast

4. Discovery Bay

5. Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, Tai Hang transforms into a vibrant spectacle as a luminous dragon, carried by 300 performers, gracefully dances through the streets for three nights. Originating in the 19th century, this tradition emerged as a response to a plague in the small Hakka village, featuring a fire dragon dance accompanied by resounding gongs and drums. Recognised as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance captivates crowds with its blazing spectacle each year.
