Colour Trend 2015
Something as subtle as a faint wash of colour accenting a wall in your home can make all the difference. With varying budget’s and sky-high rentals in Hong Kong, being creative and injecting a pop of colour into a once lack-lustre apartment can instantly take years off a property and at once distract from its lesser qualities, enlivening your home and setting the tone — for better things to come!
Don’t be afraid to go for the colours that speak to you, but remember, less is more! One accent wall is subtle and makes a statement. A whole room in one colour will require contrasting furnishings, items and pieces — so the room doesn’t get lost in a melting-pot of colour intensity.
This Just In: Benjamin Moore announced that Guilford Green is their Color of 2015. Taking inspiration from fashion, textiles and the arts, the paint company curated a color palette of 23 colors in greens, blues, blush and berry, focusing on monochromatic layering in the same color family. Check out the palettes below and some very enviable room inspiration.
