Serviced Apartments In Hong Kong

Nest Property

Whether you are a business traveller or on a long holiday, serviced apartments are ideal if you are staying in one place for more than a few days. Serviced apartments in Hong Kong may be cheaper than hotels and more affordable for long stays. Many corporations are switching to serviced apartments to house employees on international assignments because of the benefits they provide in terms of cost and employee satisfaction.

Let’s look at our personal favourite serviced apartments and their advantages:

Pacific Place Serviced Apartments

Located above the Pacific Place shopping mall, this complex houses 270 (one, two or three bedroom) suites. Tenants can choose between city or harbour views, and Oriental or Contemporary design schemes. Residents can enjoy exclusive discount and signing privileges at the adjacent Conrad Hotel’s food and beverage outlets, 24-hour room service, limousine transfers, valet laundry service, and complimentary membership of the Conrad’s health club facilities which include a fully-equipped fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool. Prices range from HK$69,800 to HK$180,000 depending on size of unit.

Shama Serviced Apartments

Both Shama on Peel Street and Hollywood Road are located in the heart of Hong Kong’s Soho district. Though they have great layouts and interiors, they do not have any amenities but do have a membership agreement with a nearby gym. Their location means that you are in walking distance to numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants. Peel Street ranges from HK$29,000 for a studio to HK$70,000 for two bedrooms, and Hollywood Road have one bedroom apartments starting from HK$30,800.

The Ellipsis Serviced Apartments:

The Ellipsis is located adjacent to the Happy Valley Race Course within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. The units are well laid out and have contemporary interiors including plasma TVs, open kitchens, and a communal swimming pool with jacuzzi in the complex. Prices range from HK$22,000 a month for a studio up to $49,000 for a large 2 bedroom. Rates generally include daily maid service.

Safety and privacy are important issues for any traveller. Similar to hotels, these apartments are equipped with security systems and 24-hour security is provided within apartment complexes which may possibly be more stringent than that in hotels. In addition, the public nature of most hotels means that they can only provide a limited sense of privacy, whereas serviced apartments in Hong Kong provide excellent privacy for occupants on long term stays.

Nest Property can easily help book a reservation at any of the listed serviced apartments.
