New Restaurants This December in Hong Kong

Nest Property

December delivers Hong Kong’s most exciting restaurant openings, from modern izakayas to Michelin-starred Shanghainese cuisine. These standout openings promise memorable meals for every craving.

01. La Vache & Peak Pizza

Hong Kong’s beloved Parisian-style steakhouse opens its fifth and largest location featuring signature steak frites, private dining rooms, and a dedicated bar. The neighbouring Peak Pizza offers New York-style slices for those seeking lighter options. The classic $418 Aujourd’hui menu delivers baguette, green salad, and sliced USDA Prime ribeye, while quick workday options include burgers and steak sandwiches.

02. Hana No Kumo

The Henderson’s newest Japanese restaurant showcases kappou cuisine under Executive Chef Ogawa Masaru, a shokunin with over two decades of experience. Unlike formal kaiseki, kappou features chefs preparing and serving dishes directly before guests, creating an intimate, interactive dining experience. The restaurant joins The Henderson’s growing culinary collection following Peridot bar’s recent opening.

03. Carmela

From the creators of FRANCIS and FRANCIS West comes this Mediterranean destination celebrating Southern coastal dining through fresh produce. The menu emphasizes quality meat and fish enhanced by generous olive oil, wheat, and herbs across signature dips, fresh vegetable starters, homemade pastas, and shareable meat dishes. The relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere makes Carmela perfect for romantic date nights in Central.
