01. Rules of Freedom, Freedom of Rules

Japanese artist On Kawara documented existence through daily rituals, using postcards, telegrams, and calendars to create an autobiography during his nomadic travels. His work explores time and existence through self-imposed rules and freedom. This posthumous retrospective spans 50 years, featuring celebrated series and his Hong Kong period.

02. Worlds Within: Art as Refuge

Villepin’s exhibition features four artists—Zao Wou-ki, Fernando Zóbel, Lê Phổ, and Kang Myonghi—whose lives were shaped by exile and migration. American artist Cy Gavin makes his Asian debut at Gagosian with paintings depicting natural landscapes, plant life, and cosmic structures that explore themes of life, growth, and transformation.
