It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!
Santa Claus is in town! It’s time to get jolly and partake in all the great Christmas festivities that Hong Kong has to offer. Here are some festive events to join and restaurants serving up tasty holiday meals.
1. BASEHALL CHRISTMAS PARTY
Decking the halls with the utmost festivities, the Christmas market will be transformed into the lively BaseHall Christmas Party with music, games, and more. Six-piece band The Carpio Brothers – who have previously played at Foxglove, the Intercontinental and the Grand Hyatt to name a few – will kick off the party performing Christmas classics. To further up the seasonal ante, there will be carols, crackers, and friendly competitive revelry from the Ugly Christmas Sweater Competition. Tables will be stocked with classic games such as Jenga, Uno, Cluedo, Guess Who?, FeiHangKei, Catan, Mastermind—and even a life-sized Connect Four. Each BaseHall food outlet will also be offering specially curated festive dishes that are perfect for family-style sharing in between hard-fought battles at the board games and to recharge for dancing.

2. HONG KONG BALLET PRESENTS THE NUTCRACKER
This Christmas, Septime Webre’s larger-than-life world premiere of The Nutcracker, set in the early 20th century Hong Kong, follows young Clara on a fantasy adventure when one of her Christmas presents, a magical Nutcracker, comes to life. A glorious feast for the eyes and ears, this nostalgic extravaganza features a riveting fusion of local historical characters, charming wildlife and shared Hong Kong traditions, set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved iconic score with Gabriela Tylesova’s luxuriously detailed sets and costumes. Don’t miss the hypnotic Waltz of the Bauhinia Flowers, the whimsical Mother Dim Sum and her dancing Dim Sum Clowns, or the lively Cheung Chau Bun Festival! A new classic for our city and the festive event of the year, this family-friendly The Nutcracker eloquently showcases the diversity and splendour of Hong Kong and will enchant audiences of all ages.

3. SOIREE WITH SANTA
Tickets for Santa’s Secret Kingdom sold like hot gingerbread cookies in the North Pole! Unfortunately, extra dates for the full experience could not be arranged but there will be dates for those who missed out to come and enjoy the second half of the experience. During the magical 30 minute experience families will meet the silly elves for awesome arts and crafts, and fun games while Santa meets each individual family for a magical private visit. Even the Big People (adults) might be in for a special treat – as long as they’re on the nice list!

4. FEATHER & BONE – SHARING FESTIVE CHRISTMAS MENUS
Delicious festive menus, stunning turkeys & classic Christmas roasts with all the trimmings, to FAB gift ideas and indulgent foodie hampers, we’re expecting ‘mmmm’s all-round in-store. This year, HK$5 of every Christmas menu sold will go into the FAB Foundation fund (charity IR number: 91/17758). It is Feather & Bone’s mission to help local Hong Kong communities in need.

5. GRAIN
At Grain, enjoy a hearty family-style Christmas, done the British way, and feast on Grain’s Christmas roast menu. Christmas dinner table classics like roast turkey smoked in herbs, glazed ham, plum and cranberry sauce, roasted potatoes, stuffing and all the trimmings are included.

6. CATCH
There is seafood aplenty at Catch, so expect an elaborate seafood platter to start, before the main event of Christmas turkey with gravy and cranberry slushy as well as honey mustard glazed ham with all the Christmas roast trimmings.
