Instagram-worthy Rooftop Bars

Nest Property

With summer in full swing it’s time to head on up to one of Hong Kong’s uber-cool instagram-worthy rooftops. Perfect views, glamorous cocktails and just a smidge of a breeze to try and keep your cool on! To make things smoother we’ve whittled the options down for you. So grab a friend, and head on up! Here are our favourites…

Wooloomooloo (Wan Chai & TST)

Wooloomooloo’s Wan Chai location boasts incredible panoramic views of the surrounding residential areas alongside Happy Valley and Victoria Harbour. Head up to the 31st floor and take it all in whilst sipping on one of their many cocktails on the spacious rooftop. If you fancy mixing things up then head over to their TST location which has arguably the best view of the island.

Locations:
31/F & Rooftop The Hennessy, 256 Hennessy Rd, Wan Chai, +852 2893 6960
G7/8, 66 Mody Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, +852 2722 7050

Ce La Vie

Located in the heart of LKF this tropical garden rooftop is more of a party scene than some of the other rooftop bars. A great spot if you want to let your hair down. For the ladies, enjoy complimentary bubbles and canapés every Thursday night from 7:30pm-10:30pm.

Location:
25/F California Tower, 36, 30 D’Aguilar St, Central, +852 3700 2300

Sevva

The perfect spot for after work drinks or if you’re looking to impress visitors. You really do feel in the midst of it all with HSBC almost reachable, great views of the Supreme Court and the quaint Statue Square. A great spot to take in the bright lights and lasers of HK’s world-renowned Light Show.

Location:
Princes Building, 25/F, 10 Chater Rd, Central, +852 2537 1388

Red Sugar

One of Hong Kong’s newer rooftop bars still somewhat of a hidden gem. An entirely new angle of the ever fascinating sky line.

Location:
7/F, Kerry Hotel, 38 Hung Luen Rd, Hung Hom, +852 2252 5279

Bond

Tucked away in Tai Hang is Bond. A chilled-out spot in a quieter location with a large 2/F terrace. Great for sundowners and casual drinks with friends.

Location:
2/F, 98 Tung Lo Wan Road, Causeway Bay, +852 2155 1777

The Backyard

A rather twinkly rooftop with mango trees and hanging paper lanterns. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with friends and order a jug (or two) of sangria.

Location:
Langham Place Hotel Hong Kong, +852 3552 3250

Aqua Spirit

Our cheat card. This bar might not have an outdoor terrace but the floor to ceiling windows definitely make it feel like you’re outside. Aqua Group have various different restaurants on the top 4 floors of The One building. However, if it’s a sophisticated drink you’re looking for then Aqua Spirit definitely won’t fail to impress. Views of the harbour aside, the bar itself is enough to impress you!

Location:
29+30F, 1 Peking Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, +852 3427 2288

Duddells

For all the Dim Sum lovers out there, check out their weekend brunch with free flow Veuve Clicquot on the Duddells garden terrace.

Location:
Level 3 Shanghai Tang Mansion, 1 Duddell St, Central, +852 2525 9191

Piqniq

A new addition to the Central rooftop scene. Sink into the comfy beanbags and chill out on this hip terrace with an aperol spritz. This rooftop isn’t short of fab instagramable snaps.

Location:
H Queens, 80 Queen’s Road Central, Central, +852 5200 1683
