Gino’s Gelato
If you’re keeping visitors entertained then Gino’s two ice cream shops are placed in perfect spots. Take a stroll along stanley waterfront or a hike up the peak and give yourself a well earned reward. Their choices are aplenty so make sure you take advantage of their try before you buy and if you have a four legged friend with you, be sure to treat them to their famous doggie Gelato!

Oddies Foodies
Combine egg waffles and ice cream and you’ve got yourself ice cream in an egg waffle cone. That’s just one of the concoctions they’ve put together but it doesn’t end there. We suggest checking out their ice cream creations and step out of the vanilla comfort zone.
Location: 45 Gough Street, Central, Hong Kong
Holly Brown
You might be wondering why we are suggesting a coffee shop when we are talking about ice-cream shops, but believe it or not these baristas really know their stuff when it comes to gelato as well. Just watching their specialists work the ice cream on the tailor made ‘cold plate’ before popping it into one of their freshly baked waffle cones is almost as good as the ice cream itself… alright, maybe not!
Location: 22 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong
Lab Made
Science geeks pay attention! Lab Made isn’t about creativity or fancy toppings. Watch as your ice cream freezes in front of you using nitrogen. Lab Made doesn’t sound too natural to us but we can confirm that all their ice cream comes with no artificial colours.
Location: 6 Brown Street, Tai Hang, Hong Kong
Happy Cow
If the summer bod diet is too tight to truly indulge or you have an allergy that takes away those moments. Happy Cow offer delicious dairy-free ice cream (which is also vegan). It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a cold treat with no consequences, one that’s just as creamy and addictive. Calling everyone who is vegan or lactose intolerant, it’s time to celebrate with the good stuff.
Location: 33 Man Kwong street, Central, Hong Kong
Loooop
We might go as far as to say this is the most decorated ice cream in Hong Kong and what’s better is it’s all 100% edible from decorations to the label! A great spot to take little ones, and you’ll never have to worry about them attempting to eat the cup when you look away for a split second.
